Knowing Christ and making Him known
Jesus' resurrection is not just his victory, but ours too. The Shepherd who was raised will raise his sheep. We too shall rise from the dead on the Last Day, and enjoy eternal life in Heaven. The One who leads now will lead us all the way home. • If Christ is risen, your past is not held against you. • If Christ is risen, your present is not left to you. • If Christ is risen, your future is not uncertain.
Sanctification is a life-long journey to become more Christlike.
This lovely hymn was written as a form of instruction of the Apostles Creed.
Whatever challenges or disappointments we might face, this hymn reminds us that God’s promises are true.
